Damien GALANT
Research
I am a F.R.S.-FNRS PhD student at the Université of Mons (UMONS) and the Université Polytechnique Hauts de France (UPHF). I work under the supervision of Christophe Troestler (UMONS) and Colette De Coster (UPHF). My current research interests are: - Nonlinear elliptic partial differential equations, in particular the nonlinear Schrödinger equation; - Unidimensional aspects of PDEs: metric graphs, ODE techniques; - Variational problems with lack of compactness; - Normalised solutions to nonlinear problems, including in the L²-supercritical case; - Control theory of PDEs; - Computer-assisted mathematics in the broad sense, including computer-assisted proofs in analysis (using interval arithmetic).
