Anne-Emilie Declèves has teaching activities in the fields of biochemistry and molecular and cellular biology, including first, second and third bachelor's degrees in medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences, and biology, as well as master's degrees in biomedical sciences and biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology. She also trains students in biology and biomedical sciences in research in the field of metabolic diseases.
Research
Anne-Emilie Declèves has research activities in the field of metabolic diseases, especially obesity. Her expertise focuses on disturbances in lipid metabolism and mitochondrial impairments. She supervises PhD students conducting their research in the field of adipose tissue disturbances and kidney alterations associated with obesity. She is a member of various international societies in the field of metabolic and kidney diseases.
