Marc DEMEUSE
Teaching
Marc Demeuse teaches at the University of Mons since 2004. It provides courses in the areas of analysis of education policies and curricula, methodology and survey techniques, didactics, assessment school learning and training of teachers. It provides courses at the Bachelor in Psychology and Education, at the Master in Education Sciences, to the aggregation of upper secondary education from different faculties of the University of Mons and within the doctoral school PSYCEDUC and the University of Burgundy.
Research
Marc Demeuse conducts research in the areas of teacher training, analysis and evaluation of educational systems and educational policies, development of teaching tools and learning evaluation. He is the head of a teaching and research unit that develops researches in these areas, with both fundamental and applied perspectives. A number of works that are carried out there are in a comparative perspective and methodological approaches are both quantitative and qualitative. Researchers belonging to the service "methodology and training" are also developing works on varied corpus analysis software tools (texts, databases and audiovisual documents).
