Research
Denis Bertieaux conducts research in the field of teacher training. His research focuses mainly on the practices and well-being of teachers. Since October 2024, he has been carrying out doctoral research funded by an FRS-FNRS fellowship. The aim of this research is to develop a model of well-being in teaching as a learning object, in order to promote the professional integration of future teachers.
A member of the EDUcation et des Sciences de l'Apprentissage (EDUSA) department at the Ecole de Formation des Enseignants de l'Université de Mons, he has also taken part in various research projects, including the Mathematics-Geography-Science Consortium research project conducted as part of the Pacte pour un enseignement d'excellence (reform of compulsory education in Belgium).
