Laurent VAN PARYS has been engaged for more than 10 years in sustainability aspects of heritage preservation (masonry material and soil-structure interactions). Together with Prof. Thierry DESCAMPS, he manages a platform hosting researchers implied in this topic for short stays focussed on experimental or numerical aspects of sustainability, namely in Heritage Conservation. Their research team works more specifically with labs in Flanders (Ghent University), Poland (Poznan University of Technology) or Canada (University of British Columbia).
