Teaching
I teach on the one hand Calculus to 1st and 2d year engineering students.
On the other hand, I teach classes of statistics, data mining and machine learning to 3d, 4th and 5th year students, as well as reinforcement learning in the "AI certificate".
Research
My research activities are mostly in the field of machine learning.
I am particularly interested in active learning and statistical learning theory, as well as applications to multimedia classification (sounds, images, videos, ...).
