Laurent DEBAILLEUX
Teaching
Laurent Debailleux is a civil engineer, Doctor of Applied Sciences at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Mons (UMONS-Belgium) and master in Conservation (Raymond Lemaire Centre for Conservation KUL-Belgium). He is professor of building conservation and conservation theory at UMONS. He also teaches on damage diagnostic and decision helping tools (part of the Advanced Master in Heritage Conservation and Restoration ; Institute for the Walloon Patrimony).
Research
My research is mainly focused on preventive conservation of cultural heritage buildings and characterization of built materials by using non-destructive techniques.
